 Dentist Position – Beauwood Dental Care (Part Time, Potential Full Time)

Beauwood Dental Care is a friendly, patient-focused practice dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Dentist to join our supportive team on a part-time basis, with the potential to progress to a full-time role.

About the Role:

  • Part-time position

    • OPG machine
    • CBCT scanner

  • GDC-registered Dentist
  • Welsh NHS Performer Number (or willingness to obtain one)

Job Description: Dental Therapist 

Pay: From £34.00 per hour

Job Overview

Beauwood Dental Care is expanding, and we are thrilled to offer an
exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Therapist to join
our growing team. based in the beautiful town of Llangollen in North Wales. We
provide a mixture of NHS and Private Dental Care. We offer a diverse range of
treatments and services to our patients. We use software of excellence and
CEREC digital scanner offering digital design for quick and successful dental
restorations.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to
develop and implement personalised treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient’s
    needs and develop individualised treatment plans (direct access therapy)
  • Implement therapeutic techniques and
    interventions based on best practices and patient goals
  • Diagnose conditions and develop treatment
    plans within your scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and confidential
    patient records in accordance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with other healthcare
    professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Educate patients on health, wellness, and
    preventative measures to enhance their overall well-being
  • Stay updated on the latest developments
    in therapy practices and techniques

Qualifications

  • GDC registration and indemnity insurance
  • A recognised qualification in therapy or
    a related field is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both
    verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently as well as
    part of a team
  • A commitment to ongoing professional
    development and staying current with industry trends
